Hi family!
I'm finishing up a training with work here in San Francisco, at my old school, California Institute of Integral Studies. Flying back to San Diego tomorrow and excited to jump into the cleanse Monday!
Good time to be thinking about what I need to be prepared. Tomorrow planning to eat lots of raw veggies. Getting my protein fix tonight before saying goodbye to meat for almost a week. A little difficult to reduce coffee during travel and long work days! But I'll be able to keep it low key tomorrow and might do green tea Monday and Tuesday to ease withdrawal headache.

Winding down all of the things that I'm not going to be eating and drinking for the next few days. No meat today, but I at a tempeh sandwich. I'd say the thing I'm the most apprehensive about is the calorie cutback. I can already feel myself getting hungry not having meat. The other difficulty will be losing coffee. I will certainly be supplementing with tea just to make sure I don't get any headaches from caffeine withdrawal.
ReplyDeleteI will be doing a no meat diet, but I'm still including eggs for protein. Also, lot of nuts! Not limiting myself to just juice should also keep some roughage in my gut, which is one of the problems I have with juice fasts.
